Initial Assessment

A medical and dental questionnaire will be completed for all new clients. Clients will receive a complete intraoral, extraoral, periodontal exam and intraoral photos to determine the state of your overall oral health. At this time we will determine and discuss any recommended treatment and devise a treatment plan specific to your needs.

Oral Cancer Screenings:

A visual exam will be completed at every visit of head, neck, face and mouth for any suspicious lesions.

Teeth Cleaning/Scaling

Teeth cleaning and polishing recommended every 3-6 months. Time required for cleaning depends on the condition of the gums and the amount of plaque, tartar and stain present.

Teeth Polishing

Your teeth can be polished between cleanings to have you looking your best for important functions, meetings, interviews and weddings.

Teeth Whitening

Today’s your day to shine! Have you teeth looking up to 10 shades whiter in approximately one hour with our chair side whitening option. Or you can choose an at home treatment that can whiten your teeth in as little as 15 minutes a day with custom fit bleaching trays fabricated by us. We also provide whitening services for wedding parties including special discounts for the bride and groom.

Fluoride Treatments

Offered chair side in a foam or a rinse form to help reduce sensitivity and decay.

Desensitizing Treatments

For teeth that need further desensitizing at home desensitizing trays are offered as well as site specific desensitizing treatments offered chair side.

Oral Hygiene Instruction

As each client is different so is our recommendation for each client with regards to their homecare regime. We will take the time to show you different methods, products and information that you need to keep a healthy smile.

Sealants

Many teeth develop with deep grooves and pits, protective sealants may be placed on specific teeth to help avoid decay.

Protective Mouthguards/Sportsguards

Sportguards are used in any sport where there could be contact like hockey, rugby, football, soccer and lacrosse to minimize risk of serious injury to your teeth and jaw. All mouthguards fabricated at the office are created using Pro-form material which was originally developed by a dentist to provide superior intra-oral protection for NHL hockey and NFL football players. An impression of your teeth is taken and then your custom mouthguard is fabricated from that. Same day service can be provided if needed. There are many different colours to choose from.

Dentures

Removal of calculus and stain from dentures not only makes them look better but will feel better too. We will also give you oral hygiene instruction on how to best maintain them.

Intra Oral Images

Enlarged digital computer images will be taken to assist us in helping our clients to understand exactly what is happening in their mouths and to aid in our treatment planning with our clients.

Client Referrals

We will always recommend you to other health care professionals if required and recommend that you visit a dentist once per year.
